Little Kids’ Holiday Gift Guide

November 21, 2021

So if you’ve been following for some time, you know that every year I post what I’m getting my kids for Christmas. So it’s always the ages and genders that I have going on for my family. I believe boys can play with girl stuff and vice versa, so nothing is meant to be in a box, I just want to highlight the people I’m shopping for, as this is my real life list! Remember, there are supply chain issues this year, so if you see something you like, grab it! This is not the year to necessarily wait for the best post-Thanksgiving deals! And, ho, ho, ho, here we go!

Four-Year Old Girl

You don’t need to do much guessing when your child is four. Mine knows what she loves and what she wants (which is pretty much everything.) The challenge for her is knowing what to cut and what to purchase. I’ve leaned in to her favorite things, while trying to throw in some surprises to challenge her growing mind!

Dress up-

My girl loves all things performance. She is full of drama and loves to express herself. She is still very into Elsa and Anna, but has been longing for the Frozen 2 editions.

I found an Elsa Nightgown (sold out but linked similar), Frozen 2 Elsa Dress, Frozen 2 Elsa Wig, and Frozen 2 Anna Dress, as well as a Cinderella nightgown to cover the Disney category. Super Smalls Shoes are a great addition to any costume!

Dolls-

Another favorite category for my girl. I have a very special dollhouse that I am building from scratch. It will take years for it to be completed, but she has been asking about it every day. So, her big gift is a dollhouse. And, a pretty giant one that I will probably regret, but dolls are big………

Here is the KidKraft dollhouse. I’ve also included some paper dolls because I had so much fun with them as a kid! These have a modern twist and are from a company I LOVE! Lastly, I’ve added to her American Girl Bitty Baby collection with some matching jammies!

Creative-

My girl loves to express herself and create. To keep the creative juices flowing, here are some artistic ideas for under the tree!

She just loves stealing my phone to take pictures, so I’m sure the Kidizoom Print Camera will be a hit! In addition to basic art supply refills, I’ve included the Crayola Color the World Markers! So amazing to have a functional product that can also encourage diversity!

Education-

I’ve included some fun books and a helpful reading tool for my growing girl!

For books we have Picturepedia and Wow in the World! And this Montessori Letter Spindle is supposed to be the best your preschoolers learning to read!

Extras-

Here are some miscellaneous items that I thought my daughter would enjoy!

We love a classic game. This year it’s Hungry Hippos. Also, a soccer ball for the backyard. And, a full-length mirror for the back of her door!

Stocking Stuffers-

A little bit of sparkle, education, creativity, music, and a classic!…

Nothing is more magical for a Christmas morning breakfast than pancakes with Sparkle Syrup! Bright Littles conversation cards promote healthy conversations with kids. Polaroid Film because it’s way too expensive to buy regularly! Another Tonie for our collection: Beauty and the Beast! And a Slinky because she seems so curious about this classic!

Amazon Wish Book-

My girls just love going through the Amazon Wish Book. They pick their ultimate dream item, and Santa delivers. This year, as much as it pains me, my four-year old’s favorite item was was…

…FurReal Wavy the Narwhal!!

Two-Year Old Girl

She is definitely my hardest child to shop for! She doesn’t know exactly what she loves yet, and she already has a ton of hand-me-down toys and clothes from her big sis. I also want to be mindful that anything she has will go down to her brother. Aside from her major Paw Patrol obsession, it’s really quite the mix!

Dress Up-

Since the dress-up clothes are all purchased in the largest sizes to go from her sister down to her, I focused more on nightgowns and accessories!

Anna and Snow White nightgowns! Find the wand here, but use code Ashley10 for 10% off! And this firefighter set is too adorable! Use code Ashley10 for 10% off!

Paw Patrol-

I really leaned in to her obsession, and added to her collection that was originally started by her big sis!

She will probably be most excited for the new Liberty pup, who was introduced this year in the Paw Patrol movie. But her own Paw Patrol bedding, slippers, and Tonies, will definitely be among her favorites!

Creative-

Both of my girls just love sitting at the kitchen table with their arts and crafts. I am just refilling their supplies with new goodies!

New Finger Paints, inclusive Color the World Crayons, and Kinetic Sand!

Education-

A couple items to encourage reading and learning!

We love this book series concept. Kids can read the Peppa Pig books independently with the help of the electronic reader. Also, a fun Map Puzzle!

Extras-

One of the few items she asked for was a “green ball,” so there’s that. The Shopping Cart is part organization help for me, but will also be so fun for this little girl who loves to play pretend with food items!

Stocking Stuffers-

In addition to the usual stickers, Band-Aids, and candy canes, a Peppa Pig Tonie, and very fun Sequin Masks! Use code MOMUPTOWN20 for 20% off the masks (and site wide!)

Amazon Wish Book-

This could have gone in the Paw Patrol category, but this Adventure City Play Mat was my daughter’s dream pick from the Amazon Wish Book!

Baby Boy

Baby number three doesn’t need much! His gifts are more a mix of things he needs, or things his sisters will play with that I can slap his name on so it looks like Santa is fair! 🙂

Clothes-

My first boy needs a ton of clothes. Here are some favorites for the little guy!

Olive & Scout Sweatsuit, Elf Hat, Christmas Onesie, Christmas Day outfit!

Dolls and Stuffed Animals-

We have a ton of stuffed animals, but I couldn’t resist this jellyfish! Also, I found it super important to represent our doll collection with another boy doll!

Toys-

One of these may or may not be something I was sold through a TikTok ad…

New blocks that my daughters will enjoy first! Little trucks from a company that makes toys out of recycled plastic! And a dancing cactus!

Extras-

The hooded beach towel is on sale! And pillows of my cats because I’m obsessed with my cats!

Stocking Stuffers-

Just a few must-haves like our all-time favorite bibs and a new toothbrush!

There you have it! I hope you enjoyed my kids’ gift guide! And I hope they really, really enjoy it! Stay tuned!!
