There are two things I buy early for the Christmas season: 1) The must-have toy that my child is begging Santa for–the risk of not securing it is not worth the 20% off to me and 2) Advent calendars. Advent calendars come out early and there is not an endless supply of them. They will sell out. We gift each child a different calendar on December 1st and it’s honestly one of the highlights of the season for me. Every morning is adorable and full of so much excitement. It also keeps them entertained for the day, and beyond. When they’re older, we’ll switch to candy, perhaps, but for now, they get a kick out of these little toys. A FAMILY FAVORITE
We had this Play-Doh Advent Calendar last year and all of the kids enjoyed! They still use the accessories all of the time. It’ s a great one to keep them occupied and works across many ages. $19.76
