We had a low-key Super Bowl night at home, so I took the opportunity to try some very different recipes. Our first snack of the night was this Vegan Queso from Good Housekeeping. While I don’t know if there will ever be a perfect substitution for the real thing, this one is not too shabby. Details below!
How to make it an A+: Remember, this rating is for what it is: VEGAN queso. NOT cheese, and in my opinion, there will never be a proper substitute for cheese. But, for what it is, which is pretty good, you can make it even better by adding a proper spicy kick. I would add cooked jalapeños over poblanos, and sprinkle generously with salt at the end! Enjoy!
