The holidays are now behind us, but there’s always next year to try out some really incredible Thanksgiving recipes. Here’s the roundup of our Thanksgiving Dinner 2023.
Whipped Ricotta with Raisins-Such an easy app to have on the coffee table. Everyone real enjoyed and it wasn’t too filling.
Fresh Herb Butter-Basted Turkey-This was easy and enjoyable. The herbs do darken up a bit, and while it doesn’t negatively affect the taste, it’s not the most beautiful turkey I’ve made.
Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy-I don’t think I will ever make gravy the day-of again! While it is more work, it’s nice to have one less thing on my plate that Thursday!
Green Beans with Crispy Oven-Fried Onions-Maybe not a side that will wow you, but felt reasonably healthy, and the onions were very tasty. They also keep to use as a topping on other foods.
Maple Sweet Potatoes with Spicy Pecan Praline-These are delicious! A lovely little kick to them!
Classic Biscuits-These biscuits were delicious! I would definitely make again!
Savory Herb Stuffing-Really basic, but good!
Herb-Infused Mashed Potatoes-These were missing a lot of flavor! I’d add more butter, less cream, and different herbs!
Double Cranberry & Apple Sauce-It’s always fun to try a new cranberry sauce. This one was delicious and full of taste and texture.
Butterscotch Pecan Slab Pie-Not my favorite dessert. The flavor was just okay, and it never really firmed up. I’d skip this one.
Easy Homemade Pie Dough-Simple and easy, but I wasn’t wowed!
