Spiced Pecans

To kick off a quiet New Year’s Eve at home, I set out a bowl of Ina Garten’s Spiced Pecans. This was absolutely necessary because otherwise my husband would have been circling the kitchen and me like a vulture, as he does most nights when he gets home for work. These nuts were the perfect choice because their combination of spices is  very festive, they pair beautifully with some nice red wine, and leftovers are easy to store, so you’re not making too much food for the start to a romantic dinner for two.
