I definitely needed some veggies to offset the heavy mac & cheese and giant cake I made for my husband’s birthday dinner. While these Shaved Brussels Sprouts with Grapes and Almonds didn’t knock my socks off, they were tasty and do have a ton of potential. See below!
How to make it an A+: B for basic. While the salad was nice, it left me wanting more complex flavors. The lemon juice isn’t my first choice. I think I would choose a red, white wine, or apple cider vinegar with a little sugar for that part of the dress. The parmesan is nice, but I would prefer a little richness to offset the sprouts, maybe some blue cheese next time around…
