I enjoyed my weekly salmon alongside this Sesame Asparagus Sauté from Alex Snodgrass’s The Comfortable Kitchen cookbook. I really enjoyed the flavor combination and the vibrance of the asparagus.
How to make it an A+: This gets a good rating for flavor, but it is very basic. I’m just as happy with asparagus sautéed (and not parboiled) that has some salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. I’m not sure it needed this whole production.
