Chocolate-covered Katie is, once again, amazing! Her decadent treats are surprisingly low-cal, packed with healthy fats and fibers, and include great alternatives to white sugar. You can indulge without feeling guilty, especially in this recipe for Secretly Healthy Brownies–which are vegan, and include flaxseed and applesauce for great hidden nutrition! I do think these squares taste a little bit closer to a Mounds alternative than a brownie, but I’m not complaining. Try it out!
How to make it an A+: These brownies are extremely rich on their own, so make sure you include some form of a topping–whether dairy, non-dairy, whipped, or not–your choice! I opted for plain ol’ whole-milk yogurt and a handful of blueberries!
