I think Sunday night dinner should be reserved for something fun that you can eat on the couch! I love getting all curled up, hitting play on a New Release, and digging into something you might not let yourself eat any other day of the week! Sundays are always reserved for indulgent desserts, Crock Pot comfort food, or, like tonight, a cheesy, doughy Salami and Spinach Stromboli! This Real Simple magazine recipe is very easy, and can be the adjusted to accomodate pretty much any filling you want. It’s a dinner that’s happy in toddler hands and adult bellies. Enjoy!
How to make it an A+: I am not a huge salami fan. I MUCH prefer something less oily and processed, so would replace the salami with, say, a thinly sliced prosciutto. Also, offer a bowl of warm marinara as a dipping sauce, alongside this Italian rollup.
