These Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Goat’s Cheese (I need to point out that goat’s cheese is the U.K.’s term for goat cheese, otherwise you’ll think it’s a typo!), and Hazelnut Tarts from Tesco magazine are simple and delicious. Puff pastry by itself is already flaky, buttery goodness, and the addition of cream cheese to the goat cheese guarantees this appetizer will have a hint of guilty pleasure under the sophistication of the rest of the ingredients. Check out this recipe for a simple start to a dinner party, a light lunch, or as an afternoon snack!

How to make it an A+: Tasty! I used regular broccolini due to the purple sprouting version being out of season (and probably tough to find in general), but cooking time can stay the same. Make sure you give your puff pastry time to thaw on the counter. Enjoy!
