After a busy Easter visiting with family and traveling up to Connecticut and back, this Polenta Pizza with Sausage, Swiss Chard, and Ricotta, by Real Simple, was exactly what my husband and I needed. I prepared the crust “dough” in the morning before we left, so that evening it just needed to bake while I prepared the toppings. The polenta makes for such a unique twist on your basic pizza base, and the entire combination feels comforting and gourmet at the same time!
How to make it an A+: I would prefer broccoli over the chard next time, and some additional red pepper flakes, salt and pepper! Also, chop the tomatoes and scatter overtop. Do not break up on the crust as suggested.
