Miso-Glazed Salmon Tacos

It’s Taco Tuesday! Here is the Mom Uptown Original Recipe for Miso-Glazed Salmon Tacos, featuring the flavorful and sustainable Bluehouse Salmon!


Serves: 4

Total Time: 30 minutes



  • 24 oz Bluehouse Salmon Fillet
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1.5 Tbsp White Miso
  • Sesame Oil
  • 2 tsp Sesame Seeds

Cabbage Slaw-

  • Half of a red cabbage, thinly sliced.
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tsp Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

For Serving-

  • 8-10 5″ Wheat Street Taco Tortillas, or similar
  • 3/4 cup Honey-Roasted Peanuts, chopped
  • 1/3 cup jalapeño, finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste


Preheat oven to 400.° Place salmon fillet on a sheet pan (skin-side down) and sprinkle with salt with salt and pepper. Spread miso paste across the top. Drizzle lightly with the sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cook about 15 minutes, or until cooked through.

Toss the cabbage with salt and pepper, to taste, vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.

Lightly char tortillas is a dry pan set to med-high heat. Place in taco tray or set aside to fill.

Assemble your tacos! Place the slaw at the base of each taco, top with the miso-glazed salmon separated into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle with a little more slaw, peanuts, and jalapeños. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
