I love healthy recipes that taste great, add variety to my diet, and are actually filling! You will not be left wanting more with a big portion of these Miso Cod and Broccoli Grain Bowls from Waitrose. This is exactly the type of dish I would order out at a restaurant, so it was very exciting to stumble upon this recipe. The dressing is the star of this show, and I will happily drizzle it over all future rice bowls–even a little leftover rice with a fried egg on top, and a dash of sriracha. Just a thought. Note: Be aware this recipe takes longer to prepare than 15 minutes. See below on how to take this dish to an A+ level.
Rating: B+
How to make it an A+: You would have to bake for a little while longer to get a real toasted sesame coating, which could put you at risk of overdone fish. Instead, I’m going to brush the fish with butter and broil, or pan-sear in oil, next time to ensure that golden topping. I would also add a red bell pepper, cut into strips, for some color and a dimension to the vegetables. Sprinkle with salt. Enjoy!
