This is the most intense recipe I have ever tried (perhaps full stop) from the Cravings cookbook. Chrissy Tiegen’s Lemony Arugula Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe is a simple pasta dish, but with high intensity thanks to salty and peppery favorites, like pancetta, Parmesan, arugula, red pepper flakes, and of course, salt and pepper. I don’t think I have ever used this much pepper in a recipe, in my entire life, but that’s the point of a dish like this. If you’re someone that loves POWERFUL flavors and burning sensations, check out this recipe. It really was one that we all enjoyed.
How to Make it an A+: Tone it down. There was way too much seasoning, even for me. And/or, portion it into an appetizer. The big flavors are best in smaller doses. Enjoy!
