While I remain critical of Real Simple magazine’s unenthused recipe titles, their Crunchy Broccolini with Lemon and Pecans is pretty tasty. I was recently impressed with their use of shallots two ways, and here, we have broccolini both roasted and raw, chopped up into one complex and refreshing side. This dish looks beautiful on a platter and would be perfect on a buffet table at a ladies lunch or for a summer BBQ!
How to make it an A+: The toasted pecans are absolutely perfect in this recipe. I would add an extra handful of the chopped nuts and a sprinkle of sea salt to finish it off.
