
Well these Cheesy Knife-&-Fork Meatball Subs were quite the Sunday night treat! Sundays are all about being cozy in front of the TV in my opinion, so this Chrissy Teigen recipe was right in line with that initiative. How to make it an A+: A few things… 1) I think I’m allergic to white bread. Not really, but, gosh, your standard white hot dog buns taste horrible to me in either a whole wheat world, or a world of fresh baked seeded breads. She says opt for nothing fancy, and I disagree. Get nice, crusty grinder rolls. 2) This makes soooo much sauce. You can have pasta with the sauce one or two nights following, so either adjust, or plan on those bonus meals! 3) Skip the garlic salt, and, instead, sprinkle finely minced garlic with salt and the butter onto the buns before broiling. And how ’bout throw on some red pepper flakes while you’re at it! No matter what you do, though, you’ll enjoy!
