When you have a couple loaves of Ina Garten’s Honey White Bread hanging around, why not make her California BLT’s?! Pretty much one of the easiest recipes you’ll ever make, but I’ve added it on here because the addition of avocado makes it worth noting. Avocado really does make most things better, and a BLT is no exception. Use with any bread you like, but there is something extra-special about a sandwich made from scratch, start to finish! Enjoy.

How to make it an A+: I don’t love the lemon in this. It may be added to prevent browning, but if you’re serving rather quickly, it shouldn’t matter. I would replace with a nice drizzle of olive oil. Don’t skimp on the S & P!
