I’ve cracked open the Dishoom cookbook and I’m excited! This Banana & Date Porridge is just delicious and reminds me of my days dining in the London Indian restaurant chain. I think a lot of the involved recipes will need to wait until I have a proper kitchen again, but for now, this sweet dish was a great way to ease in the cookbook and cuisine! Details below.
How to make it an A+: I had to cook much longer than the recipe suggested. (Which I pretty much knew going into it because no at least US steel-cut oats cook in 15 minutes.)
